The opportunity

The IT team in Socialpay works on international projects in efficient technologies and in collaboration with the most renowned companies, research centres and universities. We would like to explore and apply AI to our value chain.

 

Responsibilities

We are a small, focused team and are looking for first-class engineers that want to have a real impact on our technology and business development. You will be working on:

  1. Software innovation tasks, creating new programs and applications: Researching new software technologies and incorporating AI and machine learning to improve software performance and functionality.
  2. Improving software security capabilities: implementing security measures to protect user data and privacy and prevent computer attacks.
  3. Data analysis and business intelligence: using tools and techniques to collect, analyze and interpret data. Implementation of agile development methodologies to improve the efficiency and flexibility of development processes.

Skills we can’t do without:

  • Registered in Catalonia and your age between 16 and 29 years (as required by the European Union – Next Generation EU)
  • CFGS or higher, preferably computer science or IT related field.
  • Some experience as a software engineer.
  • Communication skills to write down technological solutions.

Additional Skills to shine:

  • Experience in Machine learning or AI.
  • Experience in collaborative European R&D projects (H2020, Horizon Europe).
  • Experience in the field of technologies applied payments and fintech.

 

Language Knowledge:

  • English at conversational level (mandatory)

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years programming experience (PHP will be a plus).
  • Knowledge of MySQL.
  • Knowledge in JavaScript/Angular
